I am a New Zealand Trained Speech Language Therapy, with a Bachelor of Speech and Language Therapy from Massey University. I am approaching ten years of practice, with experience in a wide range of contexts. I have a strong passion for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, complex communication difficulties and speech sound disorders.
I have developed skills working with children with language delay, speech sound disorders, Autism, Down Syndrome, Genetic conditions, and with the use of Alternative Augmentative Communication (AAC). I continue to be passionate about my ongoing learning and development in these areas.
I have worked for the National Health Service (NHS) in London, where I was fortunate to be placed across many boroughs and settings. However my time in a particular specialist school and college sparked my interest in the area of Autism.
I am a speech therapist with a special interest in mental health. Great minds don’t think alike, so my goal in therapy is to support each unique person on their journey toward successful, engaging, and enjoyable communication.
