Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapy can have a positive, lasting impact on your child’s confidence, capability, and independence.
About Occupational Therapy
Our Occupational Therapists help children and teens build the foundational skills they need to participate fully in everyday life. From handwriting and motor coordination to emotional regulation and sensory needs, we work with families to understand each child’s unique strengths—and support them to thrive at home, school, and in the community.
We know that every child is different, and there’s no “one size fits all” when it comes to development. Our therapy is practical, play-based, and always tailored to your child’s goals.
What We Support
Our team is trained and experienced in working with a wide range of developmental and functional needs, including:
Fine Motor Skills – e.g. handwriting, drawing, using scissors and cutlery
Gross Motor Skills – e.g. coordination, balance, body awareness
Sensory Processing Differences – supporting kids who are easily overwhelmed, under-responsive, or sensory-seeking
Emotional Regulation – helping children understand and manage big feelings
Executive Functioning – supporting organisation, memory, focus and flexible thinking
Self-Care and Daily Routines – dressing, eating, toileting, and independence at home or school
Play and Social Participation – helping children develop confidence in play and peer interaction
School Readiness and Participation – supporting smooth transitions into early learning or school settings
