These groups are designed for children and young people seeking a supported environment to interact with peers while engaging in shared interests. Finding Voices’ social groups are neuroaffirming, focusing on creating safe and supported environments based on shared interests rather than prescribing specific “social skills.” They encourage children to be themselves, practice meeting new people, and develop genuine connections, honoring and celebrating diverse communication styles. The aim is for young people to feel accepted and valued as individuals with unique skills.
